OMG... I cant believe it is already September!!! And I really cant believe Colin is 3, completely potty trained:), going to preschool, riding his bike on his own and growing up to be the sweet little boy he is!!! Yesterday we went to Magic Mountain and he had a blast on the "coasters" with his friend Kelsey!!! And Miss Emma... She is 7 months old already. She is rolling, sitting up, eating baby food, babbling like crazy and LOVES driving her brothers Cozy Coupe Car. She is such a good, happy baby and she is SOOOO in love with her brother. I can't believe how fast time flies.

D Day a.k.a. Colin's first day of school
Tuesday September 2nd was Colin's first day of preschool. Did I mention in the previous post how nervous I was? I don't think I slept more then 20 minutes the night before. I cried and prayed all night long. I was supposed to be excited... right? Colin was. Well we got up, ate breakfast and we were on our way. Jason met us there for the big farewell. We all walked to The Blue room. I reminded Colin where to hang his backpack and to tell Miss Annette or Miss Shannon if he had to go potty. He walked into his class, smiled and said "Bye Mommy, Bye Daddy, Bye Emma." We stood outside the door and waited for the meltdown but instead he found a center and started playing. Jason couldn't walk away. We were both in TOTAL disbelief. He was okay!!! He was ready!!! All in all he had a great first day!!! When I picked him up I asked him what he did at school and he said "I don't know." Are you kidding me?
Labor Day Weekend
Over Labor Day Weekend we went camping in Newport in PaPa's motor home. We stayed at an awesome campground called Newport Dunes. On Saturday we went on the worlds LONGEST bike ride to Balboa Island. Emma surprisingly liked it. And of course Colin had a blast!!! Then on Sunday Jason and I took the kids to the Aquarium of the Pacific. We did a lot of shopping at Fashion Island a.k.a. Heaven on Earth!!!! It was such a fun way to end the summer. (Even though it is still 103 degree's)
Meet and Greet with Miss Annette and Miss Shannon
Wow!!! I have really fallen behind on my Blogs!!! August 28th was a huge day for Colin. As you saw in my last blog he became a Duck, it was our fist day leaving the house in underwear (no accidents:) and he had his meet and greet at his preschool. I was soooo excited for him but SOOOO nervous. We arrived at St. Stephen's Preschool to meet Miss Annette and Miss Shannon. Colin is in the Blue Room. He ran right in there and got to work on his first masterpiece as a preschooler. When he realized the door was open to the play ground he was over the drawing and out the door. Now if preschool was held outside and consisted of free play on the yard I wouldn't have been sooo nervous. He had a blast playing on all of the equipment and climbing up the tree house. When it was time for us to go he put up quite a fight. So I guess he is ready for school!!!
My Little Duck
When we signed Colin up for swim lessons the evaluated him to see what level he should be in. He tested into the Bat Ray Level which is the third level. Every time we went to a lesson some one in his group would graduate to Duck. The child would be lifted up to ring a LOUD bell and they would sing " Hi Ho Hi Ho its off to Duck you go! Now your a Duck so your in luck, Hi Ho Hi Ho" and they would be able to choose a toy from the treasure chest. So after every lesson Colin would ask me "When is it Colin's turn to sing Hi Ho?" Well on August 28th he got his turn!!!! Tomorrow he has his first class as a DUCK!!!!
