There’s a lot of women out there compiling (and completing!) their own “30 things to do before I’m 30” lists, and I was inspired to do the same…

1. Learn to cook
2. Reach my goal weight
3. Have a diaper free home :0)
4. Go back to school
5. Implement a personal daily devotional
6. Tell someone new about Christ
7. Travel to New York
8. Disconnect our cable
9. Take LOTS of pictures
10. Pay off ALL of our debt
11. Go on a women's retreat WITHOUT a baby
12. Go on a trip with my husband BY OURSELVES!!!
13. Go on individual trips with each of my 3 children

15. Lead a bible study

"I love you, Momma"

Recently Emma, our sweet, sensitive, (usually) soft spoken 3 year old has been on this ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL "I love you, Momma" kick. It is just the sweetest thing EVER. Several times throughout the day she will drop everything only to tell me she loves me most.

IT.MELTS.MY.HEART.

(and brightens my day)

This afternoon Jason suggested I plan a girls night with some of my friends. But instead I decided to take my sweet girl on a date!!!! With all of the craziness in our life I want to make sure she doesn't acquire "middle child syndrome." Colin often gets to spend 1 on 1 time with Jason and Olivia is pretty much attached to my hip. Most of the time Emma is just along for the ride. So 1 on 1 time with her is EXTRA special. We kicked off our date with a mani/pedi!!! As we sat in our chairs soaking our toes we talked about all of the most important topics of the world. Tangled, princess',butterflies and dance class. And every couple of minutes I was cut off with an "I love you, Momma."

After our mani/pedi we headed over to Sweet Factory and her eyes lit up like a Christmas Tree. She picked out 3 candies (b/c she is 3 years old ;) and as we were checking out I got an "I love you, Momma." From there we went to Sisley for dinner. We chit chatted andslurped spaghetti and every couple of sentences I was reminded with an "I love you, Momma."

I seriously heard it 1000x tonight and it was just as special the 1000th time as it was the 1st time. She is such a treasure to our family and brings us SO much joy!!!!

Today my friend Amanda posted this verse on FB!!! I often find myself "wanting" or even worse "needing" THINGS instead of focusing on the bigger picture. It was a much needed reminder!!!

With swim suit season quickly approaching I thought Id post a few pictures of what's hot this season!!! Now for me personally, I have come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as "HOT" on this body. So I am featuring cute little bathing suit babes who can ALWAYS pull it off :)

WOW... I really, REALLY suck as a blogger :(

So my last post was titled "OK... I really suck as a blogger." And that was dated December 4, 2008!!! As in 2 years ago!!! I'm embarrassed!!! So with that being said time to dust off the blog!!! Im not going to even bother playing catch up because thanks to Facebook you are all probably up to speed :) I am excited to jump back into the blog world and share the crazy life of a VERY blessed wife, mommy, daughter, sister and friend!!!!
